In Twisted Lands: Shadow Town, the player guides the actions of a man whose small boat has crashed on a deserted island. Although his wife was with him, she’s missing when he regains consciousness on the beach. As he gathers his wits, he sees a large ship in the distance with a hole ripped through its hull. While he wonders what could have torn through the vessel, his desire to find his spouse is greater than his fear of the unknown, so he heads in that direction.
